Road Work Scheduled For Percy Julian Drive Beginning August 17th

Dear GCSC Families,
 
Please be aware that the City of Greencastle will be completing road work on Percy Julian Drive beginning on August 17th.  The work is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete. This project may impact traffic flow and could result in longer travel times during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
 
Families may continue to use the regular Greencastle High School and Greencastle Middle School drop-off locations. However, families traveling on Percy Julian Road from Veterans Highway (State Road 240) toward the four-way stop near the high school should expect possible delays and plan to allow additional travel time.
 
For students who ride the bus, the Transportation Department will contact affected families directly if route adjustments or schedule changes become necessary.
 
Thank you for your patience and understanding while this work is being completed. We appreciate your cooperation in planning ahead and allowing extra time to ensure students arrive safely and on time.
